Alpine Type R 12 Vs RE SE 12

Well I am switching over from Type-r's to RE SE 12"s so I will let you know in a week....I'm gonna go with the RE's. The type R's didn't hit as hard as I wanted and didn't go low enough.

I need to get me some Type R's if what Tommyk says is true. Does anyone disagree with Tommyk? I had some RE SE already and I'd like to test the R's out just to see what they can do for such a low price.

how much can you give the re se 12 without blowing
if we all knew this, we'd probably all give them that many watts for the most output possible..

i'd say you'd be safe up to around 850 daily, but I have only had experience with Rs.. no SEs

HOWEVER, I gave my Rs 750-1100 daily and they took it, and i've owned a Literal TON of Rs. Never blew any.

I have a re se, alpine typr-r, jl 12w6v2, & a focal 13 polyglass-12

the type -r gets really loud & can really flex your car panels, but doesn't have sq

the jl can get loud as well for hip-hop, & sounds really good, but doesnt go really low

the focal sounds really really musicial and can go deep, but not loud

RE SE is one of the best all around subs that is available right now for price & performance.

it can will hit every low note & play loud with pounding you hard in your back, your head & every place you go everyone will feel your joy.
