SSD or Q

I'm trying to decide between a 18" Q or SSD for the trunk of my car. I have about 6.5 cubes net sub up port back to work with. Which one will get louder on about 1300 watts? Q's usually take large boxes so I'm not even sure that it will even work. Guys help me out with this and if you have any other options in the $250- 300 dollar price range let me know. I'm open to suggestions.

I'd go with the Q, and get the BP option just so you have some headroom.

What about the enclosure size issue with the Qs? I hear that they don't do well in ported with less than 7.5 cubes. Would the loudness between the 2 be worth the extra hundred dollars?

grab the audioque sdc2.5.....you save $.

audioque's are peaky... if you want good sound with bass, get the Q

if you know how to read ts parameters, the SSD actually likes a bigger box of the 2, they both like big boxes though.

All I can think of off the top of my head, but IMO, I would go with a Q.

Mach 5s are hella cheap, **** thats my type of price. Will they get loud? Sq doesn't really matter to me, I just like it loud and low. I saw the guy on here with two in his 626 I think, but how loud will they actually get? Would one MJ 18 be louder than my TREO SSI 15?
