Alpine Type-R 10"

Get the amp, run 4 gauge and get rid of the cap. Your alternator will be just fine. Look into the BIG 3

I ran my Mrd m1005 and Mrv f345 on two cars with stock charging systems with no problem. Minimal dim with 90 amp alts.

Thats what the idea is, but in reality, if you use 4 gauge wire with that 1000 watt amp, all you will need to do is the "BIG 3" upgrade and your car will handle the power better. you can buy that amp and use it on your type R right now, but just keep the gain down so that it wont blow, then you can buy the Type X later.

All right, I should have it Wednesday afternoon. You haven't really answered my question about my 1 farad capacitor that I actually have. I keep it, I bought a new one or I just get rid of it?

Snow90 : "I would also ditch the cap, seeing that is does more harm than good."

I just want to know if it's really doing bad and why. And if it gives no advantages at all, I will also sell it. When should we need a capacitor then?
