Alpine type R 1 ohm?

Could i wire an 12" alpine type r 2 ohm to a 1 ohm load without killing it?

susb don't care what ohm they are at. first off it has to be dual 2 ohm to even be run at 1 ohm. next is your amp stable at 1 ohm. how much power does your amp produce at 1 ohm. next what kills subs the most is amp clipping. it would be very wise to read the gain setting tutorial.

o ok thanks. The amp is a kenwood KAC-811D.

R.M.S. Power Output (1-Ohm/1-Channel): 1016 Watts (1.0% THD+N)

R.M.S. Power Output (2-Ohms/1-Channel): 919 Watts (1.0% THD+N)
