Alpine or Pioneer? or.....

I need a head unit, and i dont wanna spend more then 200$, I was thinking of going with eathier the Alpine 9827 or DEH-P560MP, i need suggestions, im new and dont really know much about HU's.

if your on a budget, get a pioneer. If money is no object, then by all mean go for the alpine.

Yes the 9827 is a good choice. I did a 9830 for my sis, awsome so I imagin the 9827 is just as good!

YES Alpine 9827 is great. IMO Pioneer is more looks and less performance. Alpine is plain and simple but gets the job done right. You wont be dissapointed with the 9827.

I have an Eclipse and that thing owns...

can't go wrong with alpine or pioneer, its just what you like more personally.

get an alarm if you want a nice system....or live in fear- if they want it, they'll take it-simple as that, the chance you take for investing $$ into a car- at least the thief cannot use it if they steal an Eclipse HU

can't always think negative, eclipse is worth it.

lol...never once in 9yrs prior to owning an Eclipse did I EVER take my faceplate off and take it with me, and when I did removed it was under my seat
