Alpine New Type R vs Type

I am debating between Alpines new Type Rs and their Type X speakers. Has anyone used the new Type Rs and or Type X speakers. Which do you guys think will sound better. The Type X are a higher end speaker but havent been updatd yet. The Type Rs were just updated a short time ago.

I haven't heard either of those yet...but I doubt if you could go wrong either way. They sure look nice.

The "X" is still the better set. The new "Pro" X with the kevlar cone should be even better, when it's available.
