Alarm won't go off! Urgent!

I have a Viper 791vx and I am having a problem.

First the battery on the lcd pager died so we replaced that. Then today, when we went to start the car, the car would not start and the alarm went off and now we cannot turn it off. We tried unarming it with the remote, but it is not working, it sends out the signal, but the lcd just beeps basically saying the signal is not being received.

I then tried holding the valet button down and turning the key and once again, car would not start and alarm would go off.

None of the car's electronics work, it will not unlock/lock with the key or if I push the lock botton on the inside of the car.

Please, help, my installer said it is either a broken brain or the antenna died, but I don't understand how the brain or antenna has died/broken when the car has just been sitting in the garage.

To disarm:

Open the door

Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position

Press and release the valet switch.

After it's disarmed, put it in Valet mode so it won't arm again:

Turn the key on, then off

Press and release the valet switch.

The LED light should come on and stay on without blinking.

That is the thing, the LED light is not blinking at all whenever I do any of this stuff.

When I try to disarm the alarm with the valet switch, when I turn the key to on, the alarm goes off, I then push and release the valet switch and the alarm doesn't go off right away, it just seems as though it dies down in volume but is probably still running.

Then, if I try to put in valet mode, once I turn the key to on, once again the alarm goes off and then I turn the key to off and push/release the valet switch and the LED comes on.

P.S. With this Viper alarm, it says a preset button of either 1-5 for valet mode, and the thing is, my installer says he doesn't really know which # it is, but he said it's usually one.

Yeah, you can program the number of times you push the button for disarm. The default is one push, but it can be programmed for more; and you can't put it in valet mode until you disarm it.

Next step is to try and find the alarm brain and either pull the fuse or just unplug the brain. The 791xv uses a normally-closed starter kill, which means you should be able to start the vehicle once the alarm is disabled.
