alarm question

what is the best place to mount the shock sensor for the most sensitive action?? i got the shock sensor turned all the way up and i have to punch the car to get the alarm to go off i got it mounted under middle of dash

I zip tied my shock sensor to the steering column. Should do the same.

I cant say for sure but i would think on a rigid surface as far from the Center of gravity of the car
