Alarm Duration (Need FAST response PLZ!)

I'm heading off to college and I guess i can't store my car in my garage. Is there any way I can set the alarm duration to like 60-120 seconds instead of the factory 30 seconds? It's a viper 791xv.

Yes but you need a bitwriter. If you have one its easy, if not phone a local shop and ask if they have one. Im sure they will do the program for about 20 bux

The guy who installed it at american customs would probably do it for free. **** though, I don't have the time to do that.

The siren duration can be changed to 60 seconds without a bitwriter.

Open a door.

Turn the key in the ignition switch on, then off.

Press and hold the valet switch.

After a moment, you should hear a chirp. Continue holding the valet switch until you hear a double chirp.

Release the valet switch, then press and release it once, then press and hold it again.

You should hear one chirp.

Press and release the unlock button on your transmitter. You should hear a double chirp.

Turn your key on and off again to exit the programming mode. You'll hear a long chirp.

lol i take it wherever you work relies on bitwriters heavily?

we had to learn to do it with a valet switch first.
