Aiming for 4k, Alternator/Battery/Wiring Questions

Oh rly, the sub will be on its own alternator and battery. Why do I need to upgrade this when I'm not drawing power on my stereo from that battery?
ok basically ur just gonna need a big alt any where from 200-300amps just get the biggest one for ur car. upgrade all ur wires to 0 gauge. get the biggest battery that will fit under ur hood(measure the specs) and 2-3 G31 batts in the back. when u hook all the batts up to the alt it acts like one big batt i guess u could say. just the sub wouldnt be gettin power from one battery and one alternator. unless u set it up that way which would be way more complicated.

Looking to run 2000 Watt RMS Alpine for each coil on the sub, it works like that correct? I was thinking one battery for each amp? and just run a wire to each battery from the alternator, so I won't need one under the hood since this is separate from the rest of the vehicle, I am wondering though If I should put my speakers on this alternator or keep it running off the stock one? If that is the case I should have a battery up front?

Thinking like this http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee268/Allan-2greasy/SubsAmp-1.jpg?t=1254907608

This will all be separate on its own alternator.

The 4 Chan Amp(Normal Speakers) I'll give it own battery whatever I can get for dirt cheap, doesn't need nothing big its just for the speakers(Stick this one under the hood since it won't matter as much right? The speaker amp uses maybe 200 Watts Max and shouldn't make much of a difference unless its not running correct? Just don't wanna run it straight off the alternator), since it won't need that much really for just the speakers, then each amp gets it own battery, sound good?

Generally speaking, I don't think I will pump these subs maybe 750 Watts(Per Amp, 1500 Together) unless I'm showing off(At most this would probably be ten or so mins) so I don't think I will need that big of a battery, At most I would think 15-20 minutes at full, is that reasonable? If that can't be achieved with 1 battery per amp, what am I looking at if I go with 1 bat per amp at max?

The store I am shopping at carries Kinetik batteries, what size is a g31 is kinetik? here is their batteries http://www.kinetikaudio.com/2009/products.asp

I was suggested 2 2400 Watts Should I step those up to 2 3800 Watts? Or for my needs should 2 2400 Watts work out? What would be my recharge time on these if they were to run dry? (If they do get drained, would charging with the alternator be ok? Or should I charge them with a battery charger?)

Question about running each coil off an amp, I don't see anything on that subs page about doing that, is it ok to do it this way or does it have to be made this way to work like that?

i dont understand everyone keeps explainnin this perfectly then u take it the wrong way i guess or u dont understand. you only need ONE ho alternator. you dont need 2 of them! just replace the stock one in ur car to a HO alt. and are u sayin hook an amp up to each voice coil since there dual voice coil subs? i've never heard of that. you'll only need one amp per sub or 1 amp for a pair of subs if u get a big enough amp. also you NEED a battery up front. there's no way around this you simply just need a battery under the hood!!! just hook the speaker amp up to one of the battery's u have in the back it wont matter which one. ok so does that make sense? you get a HO alt, the biggest battery under the hood that'll fit, and 2-3 battery's in the back.

the kinetik 2400's would be fine for u so just get 2-3 of those. and maybe like a 1400 for under the hood. just check the dims and see whats the biggest that'll fit. and maybe 1 more 2400 in the back if u plan on playin with the car off for a while

an ok you shouldnt need to charge ur batts for a while. thats what the alternator does when the car is running. if u plan on playin with the car off then thats just draining the battery. you need to go read a shit load b4 u buy anything. cause right now your obviously oblivious to any thing car/car audio related.

I Know the alternator charges the battery, I just was told it is better to use a battery charger if they get drained, is this correct or this won't make much of a difference?

I thought having a separate alternator would of been better, but to be fair no one has really said I should ONLY go with one.

I never 'bump' with the vehicle off, but I do usually run my stereo on low, I should be fine with 1 under the hood, and 1 for each amp?

For the 2 Amps running 1 sub, I googled that, a lot came up about running each coil off it's own amp, but I see nothing about it on kicker's wiring diagram page, is it SAFE? Now I am having second thoughts about this.

yes you use the battery charger if it gets drained.

yes having another alternator is better but its not necessary for u application. just a waist of money i think.

yes the biggest that'll fit under ur hood and 2 2400's in the back will be fine.

you dont need 2 amps to each sub. just buy one amp that's big enough for each sub.

well make that two. One H/O alternator is fine. Just make sure its a decent size and two nice batterys. One up front and one and the back (maybe two). You should be fine with that, but ever car electrical needs is different. Just make sure you do the big 3, and run sufficient wire to the amps and batteries. I plan on running 6k this winter with my new car, and even still I want get another alternator

Running ONE sub Dual Voice Coil, powered each coil with its own amp, not 2 amps 2 subs. I am pretty sure you can do that correct?

And for the battery post I run the 2 rear batteries off the alternator, then I install the Isolator and run the front one off the Isolator correct?(Says not to mix batteries that aren't the same or does it only go for different brands?)

Then I run two wires from the front battery to the rear batteries, one to each of the rear batteries? All this wiring should be done with 1/0 Gauge correct?

The batteries negatives DO NOT have to be connect do they? Just grounded in a good spot?

Edit for pic: This is how I wanna set it up? http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee268/Allan-2greasy/Batteries.jpg?t=1254953263
