I've been wanting to get remote start put into my truck. Anyone and everyone out there who has had remote start installed in your truck, what did it cost ya?

That is a very vehicle, location and option dependent question. Remote start only somewhere from around 50 or 60 and with security 100 and up. Also depends on if an ignition bypass is required and features such as keyless, trunk pop, etc...

why not do it yourself? pretty sure you just need basic knowledge of removing your car panels and locating the proper wires that will have to be connected.

Like said above, depends on what system you get.

yours will need a bypass. Might as well make it do the doors also. Alarm?
