Aftermarket HU installation problem(Climate Control)

I installed a Alpine ute-62-bt head unit in a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville SLE ,using a PAC RP3-GM13 interface got everything hooked up HU works just fine, but my climate control does not work...display does not light up and neither do the control buttons at the bottom of the module the module lights work but no display...no way of turning the air off anybody got a clue what is going on
