Wire terminals

What is everyone's preferred wire terminals. I want to replace all of my original connections. I've heard mixed things on using ferrule's. I also want to replace the wire connection to the actual speaker. Any insight on a professional install would be appreciated. I kinda jumped right into the deep end when I bought my first system and didn't do the greatest of installs and now that I am a bit more experienced and knowledgeable I want to do it right.
