Advise for a new car system

Hi,

I want to build a system for my car and just wanted to ask your opinion about the parts I've chosen. Currently I have this in mind:

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-X6500BT

Speakers:

Pioneer TS-D1720C

Pioneer TS-D6902R

Amp:

Pioneer GM-D8604

I have access to Pioneer/Kenwood/Hertz and for me Pioneer is the best choice but if the quality is a lot different, I'd switch to Kenwood or Hertz or any other brand if I found it.

The guy who I plan to buy this from said that it would be better if I chose "TS-A6965R" instead of "TS-D6902R". Is he right?

I would very much appreciate any kind of help.
