Alright i've just seen this 15inch sub by Power Acoustiks and i was wondering what u guys think about it and if its a good deal, and if it is what kind of amp would be perfect for it. thankz.

I would personally look elsewhere. There's better, even for that price.

What type of sub are you looking for (sheer output? sound quality? little of both?), and how much do you have to spend? How much power do you plan on using, and how much room do you have for an enclosure?

Well im looking for one sub 12 or 15inch that can handle alot, about 700-1000 watts continous. My budget is $290 or cheaper for the sub and box. I already have everything wired up from my old system n im not looking for an amp right away.

There's a ton of great subwoofers that fit into that price and power range.

Are you wanting more SPL, more sound quality, or a little of both?

yea im looking for a loud sub, because i bought 2 bandpass jensens with handle 175watts rms a piece, it was a lack of research. but now i have more money and am looking

Kicker CompVR 15. I hear they can handle 700 RMS. And will get loud. Im going to find out if they can handle that power anyways. With my next amp.

I powered my 15" CVR with 2000 RMS for quite a while before retiring it to home theatre duty getting 800+ RMS. It can handle 700 no problem, especially on music (unclipped).

are you sure it was 2000 rms not max? thats dam impressive for a sub that can be had new for less than $150 on ebay
