S scrappy 10+ year member CarAudio.com Elite 537 1 nowhere Jul 12, 2006 #5 I had that problem once. I accidentally switched the ground and power wires on my 4 channle amp. Once I fixed it and put in new fuses it was okay. Always double check wiring before adding power
