Advice on running two amps to my sub??

Ok i feel like this is stupid idea and not even worth it but thats why im asking. i have a aq1200d and a hdc312 dual 1 ohm. i am thinking that i can some how run that amp and the rockford p500-2 to the sub?? is this possible or even worth it or should i just sell the p500-2

 
dang i really was thinging that it i jst if i could find someone to trade for it and cash for the aq2200 or just sell it straight up or get another lol

Signal flow should be HU to DSP to amps. You would lose the ability to EQ and time align the sub with the DSP unit if you bypassed the DSP.

The HU us likley 12-15 x 4 at best so yes, using an amp will be hugely beneficial, night and day. The HU us not going to drive a sub to any...

i have a 15 already for the lows ita a little over kill for a crew cab but I like it and I was hoping it would sound better and louder than my old...

I always leave approx 6" or so for that very reason, in case I decide to swapp an amp if needed,or wanting too.RCAs ect. I deff do the extra 6-8"...

Honestly, beyond what you need. It will do the trick for sure, but it is excessive. Not a bad thing, just more than you will ever need. No need...
