if those subs are anything like the dx series they made they will eat every bit of 400 rms and more (each) than they were rated for. i was running almost 500 rms to each of my dx's and they needed it because of the .88 per side sealed box they were in. id shop a little more if it were me. id look for an amp that does 900-1000 rms at the required ohmage.

The Octane R8.0:1 is rated 500wrms at 2ohms and 800wmax so you'll be getting like 250rms for each sub.

try to get a different amp.
