rofl, ok, yea, that's where i know of him from aswell. Kinda weird where UsAmps and RE's direction went which is pretty much why i find myself here now. But he's at DD now so i'd say it's likely that i'll go with some of their stuff. I'll text him in the AM and let him know you said hi, he's got a 14 month old these days so i try not to text/call once he's home lol

No love for DC Audio here? I heard those were pretty serious that the lvl 5's and lvl 6's would be comparable to the Kove Armeggedons i had. Any truth to that?

IMO if you want DC subs, get some motors and use different softparts. LV5 and 6 are both good platforms, but I've seen a lot of them fail where others would have survived.

AFAIK there's a pair of TSNS subs FS on the forum here. They're a very fair price for what they are and would take that power as well as any other listed.

There is one thing you don't realise there is NO best only what fits your budget,style,space requierments, and design.

I wasn't asking what the one and only best sub was, i was asking these days what are the considered to be the best 3-4 subs/companies for subs. Sorry if i worded it wrong. I've installed for 15+ years and didn't mean to ask a newb question as i'm sure it could sound like one. Just working on designing my next system but have been out of the game long enough to where i'm not sure what the top subs are anymore. My last 2 subs i ran were Kove's and Re's Mx's. So just trying to guage what would be comparable to those in this day and age. Thanks everyone for your input.

DD 9500s. No other sub is doing what they do with a 3 inch 4 layer coil, no other sub that I've used can tune mid 30s and still play very flat to the mid 20s. The more power you put to them the louder they get. The larger the box the louder they get.

Goo DD and you wont go back. There is a reason they cost a bit more, if you have never used them in the right way you will not understand the price.

Lmao dd is in no way the same as sq or AB do you want pics I've takin personally comparing these subs ... The similarities end with baskets at least with dd anyways

Sundown is pretty hard to go wrong with, they make some loud high quality equipment.
