map on the dd 9515 is $600 each

Still Cheaper then 750+ listed on there site .. And I know I paid under 600 but there not cheap

there is no "best" sub. these threads are stupid. choose a sub that fits your budget, power, enclosure size, and intentions.

There's nothing wrong with getting some options tho .. Dude said he'd been out the game awhile

His question is to vague. Daily use? Competition? Budget? Space limitations?

5000rms is a decent amount of pwr, your prob after spl more than anything?

You might want to look at the CT Sounds Exos. They're hand built in Texas and are putting out some stupid numbers for about what Sundown Zs cost.

I'll be changing my Z's to Exos before my demo truck is done.

My 9512's were loud, really loud... but they seemed muddy and did not articulate changes in frequency well. One note wonders but could have very well been my enclosure. The judges played nice, not an sq sub by any means but sounded good for 2500 watt subs.

They are very nice ... still working on this build .. And ill really see what they can do

Ya the new i series has some big changes ... There musical .. And there's diff options as well spiders shortening rings supercharging etc...

rofl, i was actually on the phone with Greg earlier, good buddy of mine. Just trying to figure out what subs are at the top of the game these days, if it sounded like i was asking what the best sub is that's my mistake. Just trying to get some homework done on what's the real deal these days and then narrow my choices down.
