advice on active subs - basslink

i am concidering an active sub as a space saver, have anyone used any active subs such as the infinity basslink.

please only comment if u have tried one out. some people seem to down things they havent tried but think are useless.

i am also concidering a 10 vibe active sub

i have focal components running of the head unit (alpine) they are loud enoughy, i just want sub bass fill for me in the car and not the whole wide world!1

I've installed a fair share of Basslinks...for self amplified systems, they are pretty good. IF you can spare the room however, a sealed 10" subwoofer with adequate power will outdo a Basslink.

Pretty much. They aren't that great for trunk cars either unless the seat folds down.

it is a prber box (ported)

what do u think of ported 10". as i said i dont want to overdo the bass just real lows (with not too much boomy sound)
