Advice on a passive 3way front stage

I am about to upgrade my entire system and would like some advice on a 3way front stage. I have done some reading here and looked all over PE and this is the combination I have come up with.

This will all be going in a 2007 Mustang, 8's in the doors where the factory subs were, 5's in the factory spot in the doors, tweets in A pillars aimed at the windshield.

Power will probably be an MBQ DCS4125 bridged, 500w RMS per side @ 4 ohms but the speakers are all 8 ohm. Subs will be 3 PGRDSC 10's powered by an MBQ DCS2000.1.

Deck is a Pioneer 3100dvd, HPF will be set at 80hz for the front stage, maybe 100hz depending on how it sounds.

I listen to all types of music but really want my front stage to shine on classic rock like AC/DC, etc. I want loud and clear but it doesn't have to be audiophile quality jus no distortion with high volumes. Am I on the right track or not even close ?

Why cross an 8 inch mid over the same place as you would a 6.5 inch midbass/midrange. Seems like a waste unless you mean you're high passing the 5 at 80 HZ, but that wouldn't make sense either.

Here is what I am trying to do. The subs will handle 0-80hz, 8's from 80-500hz, 5's from 500-4000hz, tweets 4000 and up. Thats what the crossovers I linked spec out at. I had thought about going all active but that would be at least 3 amps, a crossover, and subs in the trunk and that wouldn't leave much room. I am not going to cut my doors or door panels and simply want the best for what I have to work with. I currently have CDT 5 1/4 components with 100w per side and it is not loud enuff for me. The only door mods I am willing to do is modify the hole behind the factory 8 or maybe a spacer for more flexibility in mounting depth and sealing it all up. I am hoping I can get satisfactory results with a passive 3way setup as I dont want to use my entire trunk for stereo equipment.

What did you like, or not like about them RMF ? I haven't personally heard any of the stuff I am looking at which is why I am asking here.
I think they sound fine, I just upgraded to a better tweeter. I had about 60watts going to them, you would be happy with them. Will be doing it again once I upgrade my midrange. And will be using a 3''Tang Band, for that upgrade. They make great speakers. If you dont like them, send them back. Just do not f-up my ish. I had them in my a-pillars, used plasic screws washers and nuts. I was going to use them in the house.

If you want to do a 3 way passive, it would probably make more sense to just buy a fully assembled set from a manufacturer, rather than trying to piece stuff together. If you want to use raw drivers for a three way, then you should just do an active set-up.

Something like this;

Also, if you run a true 500 watts to the speakers you posted, then your risk blowing every one of them, starting with the tweeters.

I looked at all the pre-assembled 3 way sets and the only ones I found with an 8"mid bass blew the budget. And as far as the power, the Morels are all 8 ohms so in theory that amp will put out around 250w RMS, correct ? Would that kill the speakers as well ?

So would that be too much power in your opinion considering it will be an 8 ohm load ? I have an Infinity Ref. 75x4 that's rated 180x2 @ 4 ohms and a Crunch p1400.2 thats rated at 350x2 @ 4 ohms I could use, I just thought I would get something a lil cleaner and nicer.

If I had to go active I would likely go with the DSC 4125 for the mid bass and mids, or what I have now, and I also have an old US Amps 50x2 I could run on the tweets. But again if I could make it work passive I would prefer that as I like to use my trunk for hauling my trap gun, shells, etc. among other stuff.
