Yes 1/0 big3 over your 4GA will help. And it's not that expensive/hard to do either. Worth a try before dumping cash on a batt (good deals on ebay for kinetic's though!)

My stock wiring (2007 MGM) was all 4GA and I did Big3 this weekend in 1/0 and I dont even have my stereo in yet. Put it this way... it helped my stock electronics! My engine is a tad bit more responsive and I can roll up all 4 windows without the motors sounding like they are straining. So yes... Big3 in 1/0 is a definite bonus. Plus it will extend your starter life and help start your car on those ever so cold days (not sure if thats a problem for you but I live in canada... I do Big3 regardless if im putting a stereo in or not... it just makes sense!)
