Accord FULL Audio System, *WORKLOG* PICS!!!

Yea, fiberglassed the sides to get the mold with resin.

Why Polk? well its my buddy, not hugly knowledgeable about car audio, which is why he drove down here for the install and since we been great friends on the v6p forum, we wanted to meet up. Polk is at least half way decent I would suppose, and the money for them wasn't much, so we called it a deal. ah what you gona do!

Well, after a couple failed attempts to wake up Albert and get started, I proceeded to start my work at 7am!! I haven't been up that early since highschool! Anyhow we started to glass the enclosures adding layers for reinforcement. Then we fleeced that all off and made it all one solid amp rack enclosure, not that it matters to be an enclosure since it is only an amp rack. Anyhow, that was just the first part of the amp rack, since the amps are going to be top flush mounted, we had to start fleecing from the weather stripping over the bezels created for the amps. We taped off our amp racks so when we resin-ed the fleece it would NOT stick to the original amp rack, thus creating 2 totally seperate pieces so that our wires can be connected to our original amp rack enclosure and then our second cover piece laid right on top of that.

After 10 hours of working on that we hit up some chinese my mom brought home and well our furtune cookies had such revelant messages, hehe so we glassed them in! Finally we started little work on the sub box, missed american idol, but heard Melinda was elimanted, cut the wood at around 10 and still made some clean lines, then lined it up and now have the wood drying now. The rings will come tomorrow fleeced in. Then the false floor with the c/o's and carputer under the plexi and But this is what we have for now!!!

Today ::ughhh :argh: :: did not start off so well. We started to set up the subwoofer box after about 7 failed attempts of ring placement we finally sat down (literally).. Thought on it for about 20 minutes and came up with this....

(the subs are going to be more to the left of the trunk do our unique setup)

thanks guys, we got our hands filled with about 4-5 more layers, going to be going on our 4th gallon of resin!

save resin at all cost, I tripped on a cord, and I fell on the ground with a cup of resin in my hand, and the cup remained intacked with all the resin.....and hardener..
