Ok I just built the box for 2 12's. I would post pics but my digi cam doesnt work right now.

But for the box Im about to order some Pioneer 306dvc subs. Im pretty confident in these subs and they are so cheap. I will probably wire them at 4 ohms first and if i need more later at 1 ohm. Either way they will get all the watts they need. Well the total will be $141 shipped. I was just wondering if any other 12s around that price would be good. But not less spl than the 306's. The box is sealed dual chamber with 1.10 cubes to each driver.

thats not true at all, you can be loud on a budget, i know this because i am...... it all depends on install not equipment which is why some of use can get loud with $120 subs:emb:

53.3 with type-s 12's just dropped in to a wall with no testing and a 51.9 in a street setup, those are low end subs..

looking into which r's or s'? the s' get loud at a high note and the r's get loud w/ a low note. s' dont need as big of a box or as much power, but then again its all install and car dependant.

well the s is going to be alot more. I found a different site that has the 306s for 115 shipped. the S's are like 215 shipped.

**** Son, If you want "SPL" . just buy some audiobahn. 2 AW1200 ported for 150 will mess you up.

Get an sq setup. forget SPL for now.

the 306s dont even sound that bad man. Plus I already built the box for the 2 12s. Im getting 2 12s. Thats it. Just needed some other opinions on other subs in the same price range which were 2 12s. Thats it.
