Hey guys.

I just got the big 3 done to my car, yesterday i bought my Hifonics Bxi2008D amp. And i want to buy 2 15" Kicker Cvx's. So my question is do i need 2 2ohms or 2 4ohms.

Or should i buy 2 12inch Cvx's instead?

i want to go with kickers.

so i need help on this and how would i wire it down to 1ohm stable. Thanks guys.

the 12inches or 15inches?

cause the amp does 2000rms at 1ohm and 1300rms at 2ohms

only 2 2ohms wire down to 1ohm right? thats what some audio shop near by told me. They said to get 2 2ohms instead of 2 4ohms. what u guys think?

2 dual 2 wont wire to 1 ohm, 2 dual 4s will

This is just my opinion.. With that amp and the amound of "real" power you will see with voltage drop, impedance rise and all that. I would go with the SOLO Classics or the L5s. I think you will be able to push those woofers to their max. potential. Now, if you plan to upgrade to more power later, i would stick with CVX/L7s..

I would go with the 15s for sure man with the dual 4 ohms i just have one in my firebird and its insane loud like 145 db's with the windows up and i have hardly any air space the only thing is you beter have atleast 15 volts to that amp cause these subs need a ton of power to reach there full potential i run 1600 true watts to mine all day and they realy start banging around 1200 but i would go with the 15's man they sound hela good and that amp shoud push them to half of there potential but it's still going to be loud as **** man good luck bro.

Your only going to be pushing a rms of around 900 watts at 2 ohms per sub taking in your voltage drop and resistance if your running it maxed out, so running it at almost full power you shold be pushing like 700 per sub which they will hit alright till you get a bigger amp if my calculations are right. But get the 15's you wont regret it at all man.
