AA 15...wattage help..

Would the AA 15 be alright in a ported box with the Hifonics 1000d to it, or should I go with the 500d and a tad bit bigger box...?

Any other amp suggestions in the same price range as the hifonics? Around 800 watts..?

I think that sub would be able to handle 1000 watts easily. I believe a man was running a Hifonics Colosous on two of them, and that is well over 1000 watts to each. And look into getting one of these, suposed to be excellent amps.
