A weird problem, suggestions needed please

About a month ago when my bass hit hard I heard rattling from the box but I didnt think much of it. Last week, I put my seats down, its a suzuki forenza by the way, and when ever I play the bass it rattles. It sounds like if you had a cell phone on vibrate and put it on a trunk. I didnt know what it was that was causing this. After a week of be annoyed I decided to find out what is was and I found it. I own a RF 5002 amp and it is installed on the back of teh box. Anyway when the bass hits the center black peice, between the two "steel" peices, it rattles and when you push down on it there is no rattling at all so I know thats what it is. What can I do to stop this rattling?

Also, this might be a really stupid question but can I put speakers above the seats in the roof and how do you think it would sound?

Remove the piece? Tape it down? Hot glue/silicone it around the edges? Mount the amp somewhere different?

Well....technically yes, you can. You can do about anything you want.

It would, however, sound like dog poop.

DOnt know if it helps, but that is a pic of the amp and its the center black piece that is rattling.

squeak is correct. Just use silicon caulking, tape, hot glue, remove it. Just something, it won't take much.
