A question for papermaker

Oh and no I've never been a union worker but union workers in a right to work state don't work out very good because the union tries to step on the company foot the company straight up gets rid of the Union in hard everybody and give them a pay raise with the same benefits so it's kind of like why do you even need a union I was just talking to a co-worker and he said they're one of the big reasons they got rid of the Union there is because the union tried to push their weight around too much and the guys what use the union to try to get away with murder

One of my roommates is a master plumber, their gonna start me out 17 hr for the first 30 days. So job availability is a non issue. And hopefully by the time I’m in my 50s I’ll have my house paid off and enough rental income to retire

I went to school got a 2 year in electrical engineering Tried to get into electrician union and got a 96% on the entrance test.

They told me I was over qualified and they didn't want to risk me going off to find a better job.

My brother applied with ZERO electrical skills a year later and got in

Right! I was fresh out of 2 year college and needed a better job to pay school bills and rent and stuff

Even worse 3 years later I'm trying to remember all the things I learned to help my brother with his homework so he can pass the tests

But I have a good job and am happy where I'm at now
