Same here from all the specs i can find, he qouted you the right thing, sounds like you just got it and decided you didnt like the off brand name
He quoted the watts not the RMS.

Im assuming he knew those were the watts and they were the only numbers he could find. He placed those trying to make it sound better.

The manual doesn't state peak or RMS.
Given typically specs listed in a manual are stated in watts RMS, I don't see how it would be unreasonable to assume they are stated in RMS.

Also, without checking the definition from Crunch we are assuming that "Dynamic music watts" is peak and not RMS. Dynamic music watts isn't a defined power measurement.

So again I don't see how he could be faulted.

He quoted you the information he had available.
Why would he quote if its not what I asked for.

He should of simply said I dont have that information Im sorry. Instead of putting up information this is not correct.

Seems to me like you just jumped the gun without doing research and are in the wrong there iceman.

You had the model number and could've clearly googled it and checked results.

Spend a little more time before your next transaction to see whats up with the product.

the way i see it, the only thing he did wrong was ask too much for the amp. Iceman, if you had googled the amp, you would have found the specs and a store selling it for $89 in the first 3 search results. Never buy from a private seller without at least looking up the item. Don't buy much of anything without doing research. You basically screwed yourself here.

honestly, you dont know if the amp will do what he said or not. plus he didnt put RMS at the end of the 500 X 2, you just ASSUMED that thats what it was. Here is a ebay listing for it, and it says the exact same thing. I dont think given the circumstances that he should refund now, live and learn man.

500 rms x2

please explain that if he didnt put rms???

I understand that I jumped the gun. But if you go to crunchs website its not there. I figured it was new amp so I did jump the gun only due to the specs he gave me about it.

500 rms x2

That was the key which proves to be false.

I did jump the gun beacuse this amp is not on crunchs website. I assumed it was brand new and when he stated it was 500 rms x2. I wanted it.

So I did look on there site. Found no results and jumped before he would take away the offer.

So why should I have to suffer for him telling me information thats not true????

Dont buy anything from ca.com members is my motto.

why do you keep saying "watts not rms"

I understand that I jumped the gun. But if you go to crunchs website its not there. I figured it was new amp so I did jump the gun only due to the specs he gave me about it.

Look man, you can argue this until your fingers get cramps. You might as well let it go now, you brought it out and maybe people with think twice about buying from him on this forum, thanks for that, but as far as getting a refund its obvious he isnt going to give it to you.

Well thanks for sharing your motto lol.

2. He quoted the max watts capbale of this amp not the RMS the amp is capabale of.

3. And I just thought I would give it one last chance to persuade him to see his mistake.

I know what you were saying, its just the way you were putting it was funny to me.

Its a good motto to live by, on this forum. Too many bad transactions on here, way too many.

by not righting this mistake, i wont buy from you ever. atleast oner this name here on ca.com
and hopefully nobody else will. that is unless you refund your customer, i dont see what the big deal is
Thank you I see it as basic customer service. If you mess up you correct your mistake. I certainly hope plenty of people say they will not purchase from him and hopefully this will persuade him to correct his mistake.
