Me: What are the specs on this new amp??? Please let me know.

Him: 500 rms x2

Thats about the jist of it lol.

From what I can find on Crunch's website, both on the webpage for the amplifier as well as the manual, everything states 500w x 2.
I don't see a "2250" stated on the website, but there is a PZI 250.2 here;

http://www.maxxsonics.com/crunch/PZ_amps_details.html

This is the manual for the P2250;

http://www.maxxsonics.net/manuals/crunch/pdfs/crPZ_P260-P2250.pdf

From what I can find he quoted you the power ratings that were available to him.

So I don't see how he's in the wrong.
thank you

But those are just watts.... if he didnt know the rms why would he post those??? He could of simply said I dont know the rms but I do know.....

Instead he tried to use the information of the watts as the rms which makes it sound much more powerful.

Thats the way I see it if you dont know dont make it up.

who knows whats going on here anymore...but perhaps caveat emptor plays a role.

and do what, jump him? I'm a "senior v.i.p. member", and I have about as much power as you do.
I just know at certain sites higher members have more powers.... I guess not here lol. But anyway I can get in contact with the mods and see if they will solve this or what?

The manual doesn't state peak or RMS.

Given typically specs listed in a manual are stated in watts RMS, I don't see how it would be unreasonable to assume they are stated in RMS.

Also, without checking the definition from Crunch we are assuming that "Dynamic music watts" is peak and not RMS. Dynamic music watts isn't a defined power measurement.

So again I don't see how he could be faulted.

He quoted you the information he had available.
