well after reading the last posts you are in the wrong for an innocent misrepresentation, and the buyer justifiably relied on this incorrect knowledge to form the agreement. take the $10 loss on shipping and pay him all his $ back + shipping costs.

i am not budgeing i sold you a brand new amp i gave you the model number the spec off the box how is that misleading what is misleading is you friend telling you that its junk

It still falls under false advertising, research or not. Seller should refund.
Thank you that was the sole reason I bought it and if you look at the site for them it says dynamic amps which I assumed was rms.

Turns out thats how they talk themselves up. I explained this to the seller and he told me that I need to do more research.

I feel that he should refund as its not what he indicated.

And like I said before if you went into bestbuy and bought an amp that the salesman told you was capable of this and you found out it truly wasnt.

You could simply take it back in and they would gladly refund you for THERE mistake.

yes the difference is that the intrawebz is NOT a retail chain. i would probably take the amp back and just sell it to someone else, but thats me and in reality its up to the seller, which he obviously isnt gonna budge. so why dont you just try and sell it for what you paid? how much are the amps going on ebay? Sucks, but live and learn i suppose.

Thank you and just to let you know Dbman was the seller not me.

So yes I agree he is wrong but he wont budge.

I have even offered to pay shipping. But apparently there is no customer service for him.

AGAIN what is wrong is that you told me it would be 2 X 500 RMS that was why i bought it.

It is 2 X 500 watts which equates 80 - 120 RMS.

and were do you come up with the math that says something that is 1000watts max is 80 to 120 rms
Take a look at similar products that are 1200 watts.

Well im not 100% sure if its withing 80 - 120. BUT ITS NOT THE 2 X 500 as you indicated.
