A new Weird way to get high? lmao

Just a message to anyone pondering "huffing" if you think figuring out a stereo is hard now just wait until your running on a few million less brain cells!
You've never heard of the buffalo principle? When you do drugs that kill brain cells you're merely "thinning out the herd". Removing the weak links in the chain if you will.

This is probably not true

You could always just spend $50 and have enough equipment/spores to grow then dry around a pound of mushrooms.
That's kind of a low monetary figure.. I paid close to 100 for my setup, but it's a completely sterile growth process. Either way, my favorite recreational activity as well.

What all did you buy, and what is your process? Mine's based in bird seed, then a coco coir/vermiculite bulk substrate. I've only done a few grows, and I haven't experimented with any other grains, or different kinds of cultures or anything. I've just used spore sure he's and prints.

Pressure cooker to raise the boiling point of water to kill spores in growth medium cost me about 75 alone. Canning jars, bleach for sterilization, distilled water, latex gloves, hair net, mask, the list goes on. I'm currently experimenting with growth mediums but brown rice and water turns into a nice nutrient patty in the pressure cooker. I started off with syringes and have been pretty happy with them.

Never heard of your method but it sounds interesting. What do you use as a growth chamber? Is it one large chamber or secular so you don't kill the whole batch if they're infected?

yea it's a means of thinning the heard, if only it made the idiots sterile as well because even though there dumb for some reason they still know where to stick it and next thing you know.............little dumb baby's with brain dead parent/parent's!

Is this how Stephen Hawking came to be? :V

from what I have read. One of the ingredients of toothpaste is an opiate that is broken down to harmless substance by the enzymes in your saliva when you brush. Putting it on the thin skin of your ******* lets it absorb into your blood stream. You could probably get high with a toothpaste aenima. It would also help your partner have a more pleasant time tossing your salad.

I already had the PC and canning equipment, so I didn't count that with my estimate, and I have gloves, masks, bleach, etc., on hand at all times so sterilization wasn't too much of an issue either.

The growing chamber I use is a clear plastic tub from walmart with locking handles for the lid. I drilled out to 1-1/4" holes on both far ends as close to the handles as I could get, and two 1-1/4" holes on each of the long faces, 5-6" away from the bottom and sides. To precent my mushrooms growing off of the sides and bottom of the substrate, and to help keep the heat somewhat regular, I wrap duct tape all the way around the tub under the lowest holes and cover the bottom.

While I'm colonizing the substrate, I have duct tape over the holes, and have the tub wrapped in a black trash bag. Once it's time to fruit, I introduce fresh air and light, replace the duct tape with polyfill(you can use whatever filter you are comfortable with, as long as air can flow somewhat freely through it), and if everything up to that point has been done correctly, I shouldn't have to add much(if any) moisture until after the first flush.

And with this kind of setup, it's nearly impossible(of course, if you're growing in a 100% sterile room, undergo sterilization before entering, and have a HEPA filter/fan for circulation, you won't have any problems anyway) to fend off all bacteria/mold. It usually won't even start contaminating your grow until they're fruiting anyway, and by then, what little contamination shows up should be subsequently neutralized. That's assuming you've done grows before in the same area, and you haven't had catastrophic results.

My first grow ever was with this setup, only I didn't think of the tape until afterward, so I had a lot of fruits coming from the sides and bottoms of my substrate. I had a bit of a contamination(I assume it was trichoderma), but it only ever contaminated a cubic centimeter or so, and was gone within a day or two.

Wow, no wonder you can grow so much at once. If you're talking about those plastic storage tubs that are a couple cubic feet then ****.. I sterilize the rice patties in the canning jars and then use those as my growth chambers, which doesn't allow for very big batches. And you're right, mine are in the room I sleep in so the surrounding environment is not exactly 100% sterile but I mist bleach into the air, turn off the ac, and don all my gear to prevent contamination whenever I have to attend to them. It's worked out well so far.
