You could always just spend $50 and have enough equipment/spores to grow then dry around a pound of mushrooms.
You've never heard of the buffalo principle? When you do drugs that kill brain cells you're merely "thinning out the herd". Removing the weak links in the chain if you will.Just a message to anyone pondering "huffing" if you think figuring out a stereo is hard now just wait until your running on a few million less brain cells!

That's kind of a low monetary figure.. I paid close to 100 for my setup, but it's a completely sterile growth process. Either way, my favorite recreational activity as well. You could always just spend $50 and have enough equipment/spores to grow then dry around a pound of mushrooms.
What all did you buy, and what is your process? Mine's based in bird seed, then a coco coir/vermiculite bulk substrate. I've only done a few grows, and I haven't experimented with any other grains, or different kinds of cultures or anything. I've just used spore sure he's and prints. That's kind of a low monetary figure.. I paid close to 100 for my setup, but it's a completely sterile growth process. Pressure cooker to raise the boiling point of water to kill spores in growth medium cost me about 75 alone. Canning jars, bleach for sterilization, distilled water, latex gloves, hair net, mask, the list goes on. I'm currently experimenting with growth mediums but brown rice and water turns into a nice nutrient patty in the pressure cooker. I started off with syringes and have been pretty happy with them. What all did you buy, and what is your process? Mine's based in bird seed, then a coco coir/vermiculite bulk substrate. I already had the PC and canning equipment, so I didn't count that with my estimate, and I have gloves, masks, bleach, etc., on hand at all times so sterilization wasn't too much of an issue either.Pressure cooker to raise the boiling point of water to kill spores in growth medium cost me about 75 alone. Never heard of your method but it sounds interesting. What do you use as a growth chamber? Is it one large chamber or secular so you don't kill the whole batch if they're infected?
