A Mach 460 sound system

I am looking for some input on getting a new CD deck for my 1996 Mustang GT Coupe. It has the 460 sound, with a cassette player, and I would like to insert a CD player into it, without cassette. Best Buy has a 180-watt JVC deck for $100, installed for free. I know I am going to need adapters and what not. My question is, will I sacrifice wattage if I get a 180 watt deck instead of the stock 460? People tell me that it will still sound the same as now, but I would like some more input. I will be grateful for any help.

Thanks

Theres an adapter so that the mach 460 is still in use even with your aftermarket deck. That 100 dollar JVC is going to be pretty much worthless from your stock deck. Id suggest forking over at least another 100-200 bucks for something so that you really get a difference in options and sound.
