A little help?

This may be kind of random that a girl is posting in here but maybe you could help me out. I have a '94 Integra .. not crazy-souped up or nething but had a semi-decent stereo & was in good condition. Got stolen by some gangster a**holes, right off my own driveway - & i live on a busy main road in Long Island. Anyway, I was able to find the car & bring it back home ... sans hood, headlights, front bumper, interior paneling, console, my sony stereo system and basslink. I figure to replace all of this will run me about 2,000, maybe 3. My question is... how much do i need to spend on a really good alarm system. Im so paranoid now that if i put the money into fixing it up - I couldnt even imagine getting robbed again. Any input on this? I know the car is pretty old but it (was) in good shape & it has alot of sentimental value. Also, any input on fixing a semi-stripped car in general? I obv didnt have theft insurance =(
