ok well i have a person that wants me to build them a box for 2 15s and its going in a trunk but they have these SV subs with tiny *** magnets on them and there mis matched but im gonna get paid for it soo.. with these low wattage subs would it be better to go with a smaller 2-3 cube box and tune it high like 38-45 hz for the best sound? if i knew the brand this would not be the issue but they look like house speakers to be honest.. any input would be greatly appreciated.

pics? without knowing anything about the subs, other than the small magnets, i/we can't really lead you in the direction to go..... may like large sealed, or may like ported

well i cant get pics atm but they are single VC with maybe a 1in magnet so i know there not more than 500 watts max a piece. They dont have any clear indication of a brand on them either. they are also not matching set of subs. One has these diamond ridges built in to the cone and the other is just plain with no indication of brand. I will try to get a pic of them later today. i have a midterm and a exam today so i been rather busy with school. So i dont know much about the subs at all besides there gonna go into a trunk and they are small and low wattage.

Well to build an enclosure and get paid for it I hope you do some research. Get pics and we can try to help. If I was you, I would just tell this guy to buy a box off of ebay, I'm sure it will be fine for him.

oh yes im doing research trying to find whats best for those particular subs but it is hard to find info on something i have no idea what it is. i try my best to be as ethical as possible with people so i dont have karma biting at me later on. i will get pics up later today.. i promise your prob gonna laugh when you see them buttttttt i digress.. thanks for the input thus far though.

here is the pictures of the subs, the one with wires already attached is the red and black coned sub.. try not to laugh too hard.

well i have people who want me to build them boxes so they wanna see what i would do with this beforethey want me to build it for them soo im kinda stuck here im not taking mesurments till saturday but i will discuss it with him then.. i figured this would get flamedd pretty hard i kinda have to stop myself from laughing when he showed them to me.

I'm telling you it is not worth it. You will not get decent sound or output out of them. We are not flaming you, we are telling you the truth. If you want to show what you can do with enclosure building then do it with something that will impress, not something that everyone involved will be let down with.

lol i didnt mean yall were flaming me i was saying i was expecting it to be flamed.. yea i understand i really dont wanna do it so i will point him in the right direction. thank you..

man, i just lost this whole post by trying to view that last pic.... oh well, long story short, they look like they may have a higher q, geared to large sealed, or even ib capable. the big issue, other than what they are, is that you are confined to a trunk. my best suggestion is a large iso-baric reflex ported, or band-pass. most likely would fair well in the band-pass. although nicer looking, the cerwin-vega wanna-be may be more prone to cone distortion and rear driver resonance transfer, and not sound as good, so i would likely use that as the loading driver, and the silver one as the loaded, or front driver. one thing that would change that choice, is the heat dissipation of each coil. the loading driver is going to be subjected to lower movement, and less heat dissipation, not to mention that, if they are different power ranges, but fed the same, the lower power one will heat more. another thing is the loading driver will have less imp. rise, therefore accepting more power once more......have you put the meter to them yet? can you get a peak at the windings? the cvclone also appears to have less x-mech naturally, and likely shorter winding, which would once again support it's choice as the loading driver.....
