Nothing about that is anything very original. It looks like it could have been copied out of an 8th grade science book. Just add a little cynicism, and there you have it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifI'm just glad there are other's who ponder about the greater things which we do not understand....and sorry for not posting my reference but I actually found that months ago and blogged it on my MySpace page, so forgot the origin.
I want to go to Columbia just to meet him.Haven't read it but I think he is brilliant.
That's actually pretty cool that your wife would sit down and watch that with you...Off topic.....but my wife and I were watching The Universe on the History Channel the other day and they were talking about the newly discovered planets outside our solar system, one of which was approximately 200 light years from Earth. We never really have any "deep" discussions anymore....so in an effort to strike up some meaningful conversation with her I say something a long of the lines of "Isn't the universe amazing....that planet is so far away that the light leaving it's surface today won't reach Earth until our great great great great grandchildren are alive."
She looks at me and says "I love you. Will you go get me something to drink from the kitchen."

This is exactly what I was thinking. While he ponders things he will never see or have the opportunity to explore, the best and most tangible asset he has sits feet from him and professes her allegiance. And he says, "why do I bother." Oh the irony. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifThat's actually pretty cool that your wife would sit down and watch that with you...
To the OP. This article only takes into account our experiences and conjecture concerning future outcomes based on theory the "we" created. I think the answer to the question is somewhere, but we will never have it. If we did, it would be the end.
Just my opinion from my small bank of experience. I have been here for 32 years and spent the first 25 thinking I knew everything. I have spent the last 7 with the knowledge that I know only a small percentage of what is available. Basically nothing at all with respect to the grand scheme. How profound
My problem is I try to think too much about EVERYTHING, this is a formula for madness, we are only meant to understand and comprehend so muchJust my opinion from my small bank of experience. Indeed we are. We have a threshold for everything. Temperature, pain, emotion, and physical limitations just to name a few. Any of which have the ability to kill. I don't think it is too far a stretch to consider we have a finite ability and level of consumption to what we can feasibly understand. My problem is I try to think too much about EVERYTHING, this is a formula for madness, we are only meant to understand and comprehend so much
I only read it because Im interested in these sorts of things
oh and of course I shouuld be studying for Calc and physics finals....but who wants to do that?
