What have they looked like then?OHHHHHHHHHHHH.....i just never seen one like a normal sub and a 15in at that....good stuff than![]()
Not necessarily.isn't a passive radiator supposed to be a larger diameter than the active woofer?
ie: 10" active= 12"PR
12" active= 15 PR
15" active = 18 PR
The only one i think ive even seen is the TC OEM PR one....and it was inverted and looked diff to me at least.....saweeeeeeeWhat have they looked like then?
It needs to have a greater amount of displacement compared to the driver. That doesn't always mean more cone area but it's safer to go the cone area route than to try to get much more throw.isn't a passive radiator supposed to be a larger diameter than the active woofer?

ehh... the pr has around 40mm of throw as opposed to the sub's 33ish mmIt needs to have a greater amount of displacement compared to the driver. That doesn't always mean more cone area but it's safer to go the cone area route than to try to get much more throw.
i works great.... i call it a window brace, but i was just going by what the design said (not that the design was very complicated in the first place)great work. I love that brace you built.
