A Couple Questions.

I have a 2002 Ford Ranger with a stock electrical system and what I believe to be an 90amp Alternator. I also have limited space to work with so I'm looking for a 8" or 10" in a ported box to stick in the backseat.

Questions

1. I'm not exactly sure how much wattage I could push so could someone provide me an estimate?

2. What sub and amplifier combo would be decent at $400 or less?

Look into a Slim mounted Sundown 10,or an American Bass slim 10/12. Look at an American Bass VFL 1880.1d amp.That would be pretty nice in that truck

How would this compare to the SA-8 or SA-10?
How much wattages does the VFL 1880.1 put out at 1 ohm compared to 2 ohm's because the TNT 10" is a dual 4 ohm.

Never compared myself, but I know for a fact that American Bass makes some good chits!! I have several of theyre VFL Hybrid amps and love the power they produce along with efficiency along with the savings on space,and run theyre XFL subs.Great for the price and leave a smile on my face everytime I crank up

Should be approx. Half the wattage at 2 ohm from 1 ohm,but that's being conservative with these amps.It would be plenty of power to push that sub,or even the sa 10/8@ 2ohms.Yet, you can step up to the next in line for a little more money,and a bit more power.these amps are small and very efficient .

The 26801 is a little Badd azz if you aren't comfortable with the 18001.Either one will surprise you.Great amps man,Im running 2 ,4480.1 @ 2ohms on 2 sets of XFL 12s, and its ridiculous man.I just got one more in yesterday,and looking to grabb one more for one on ea sub.Should be insane

Dayton subs are very nice woofers also,HO series Ive had experience with 10in..Take a small enclosure,and take some juice also.Loud and clean also.Nice subs.I still recommend the same amps though
