Two questions,

Is there a way to have my headlights brighter without replacing both the headlights? such as brighter bulbs? and if so, how much? sometimes i can barely see the road marks that separate the lanes at night.

Also, somethings my speedometer console dims(rarely though), does that mean i need a new battery?

you can get brighter bulbs on ebay...try hids your bulb size is 9007 .......the big 3 will reduce and usually solve dimming....one thing your car is a unibody so grounds in your trunk are weak due to lack of a frame....it is best to run the same size ground wire as power wire from your front battery to the trunk....for your amp or amps

Yeah I would go the HID route, those bulbs are easily gotten to on those cars. Is the car lowered? When I had my '99 I did not mess with the car was lowered more in the front by half a coil then it was in the rear so my lights did beam that far.

Does you speedometer console dim when bass hits or just randomly? If you do not have a stereo in there I would have no clue what would cause that it would more than likely not be a battery.

DO i have to get the HID conversion kit? or can just get the bulbs and it'll work fine?

And about the dimming, not it dims randomly, i haven't even installed my system yet, lol haven't even found an amp that appeals to me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

It doesn't do it often, so i cant actually pin point if it is something i'm doing. But i do know that the mileage display sometimes doesn't even show at all. which has me worried because I'm curious if the check engine signal is linked to that and isn't showing, so i wouldn't know if there's something wrong with my car.

another question, are mustangs known for there headlights leaking in water? because if i'm looking at the front of my car i can see that one headlight is clearer then the other, is there anyway to get that out of there.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

You might want to wet-sand your head lights. I've yet to do it, but I know a few people who have had great success, one being my Dad who keeps telling me to do it, but I'm too lazy.
