98 Firebird Build - Lots of Pics - 56K warning!

its not that good:( we put one in a friends car. was dissapointed in it:(
I figured as much, I have yet to even see one in person and never heard of anyone using that model so was just something to try later down the road. So many companies out there now, it's amazing how they all make a profit at all.

Nice clean install at least. Plenty of room to upgrade in the future too. Glass the inside of that well and then a nice double 3/4" baffle to flush mount some killer subs in there and then finish it off with a sweet amp rack going from the subs up to the seat back.

Wiring looks good too, least its not a big rats nest of random wires.

What have you done up front? for speakers and such? Sorry if I missed it.

did you screw that amp down there? I hope not and if you did i hope you used small screws the gastank is inches below that back area
Yes Obviously I put some wood under there, lol..

and to answer another question, I havent changed the stock speakers yet, their pretty bad now imo.

Ill prolly end up getting my dads 01' Ws6 and selling this car around next year, so i can reuse all of the stuff I have in my car.

Nice and simple. Clean install...most will agree that you could have gotten better equipment..but as long as you're happy with it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Good job!

One question though, what size power/ground wire is that? It looks TINY..

Nice car and subs, my friend got those but his are so underpowered. they hurt tho so //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I got the headunit. I almost got the excelon 492 but instead I saved 80 dollars and went with the 283. and I like it better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Thanks, yeah i would say they hit pretty hard, they deff have a lot of movement, I almost am afraid to go over 21 (max on my reciever is 30) with the amp tuned to like +2 bass boost.

and to answer another question the ground is 12gauge? I think?
