98-02 Accord front stage questions..

Anyone have any pictures of some 3-way 98-02 Accord front stages? Preferably something without using kick panels..more so all 3 speakers in door -- or at least the midrange/midbass. Going to pick up a 2002 4 door EX tomorrow..will finally have something else to build in since the RSX!

i just did this in my 99. simple yet effective and i think it looks and sounds nice, tho i am using the 9887 with Time Correction

had to build the mid out tho, Oz Elities have fat azzes

James Bang -- I saw your builds a while back..and absolutely love them. Unfortunately I don't have the time/resources to do anything like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but they are amazing..and Nauc, very clean. That's definitely what I'm going for. My drivers will only be Dayton's, and 2 or 3-way..haven't decided. Hopefully it stacks up to my old passive Germ's..miss those things. Anyone else?

ive never done 3 ways myself, but have heard many times, if you dont know what your doing, it could end up worse cause of all the acoustical problems they can create

whatever you do, id make sure you put the tweets at least above your knee, so your legs dont block their sound, since tweets are more directional than mids etc

That's what she said. I'm leaning more towards a 2-way just because I already have the amplification for it

Picked up my '02 black accord sedan today //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif going to go with these..Parts-Express.com: and Parts-Express.com: ...off my 4150xxk. Good thing I ended up not selling it, someone would have gotten a hell of deal..thought two channels were bad but it actually works fine!

i have an active 3-way in my 2001 Accord EX sedan.

they are in the kicks, fully flush with the factory carpet. not sure why you want to use the door. the PLD is awful. i tried the doors before, the soundstage sucked. i can do two seats with this.

i need to FG a cover for them and replace the carpet. but it's too cold right now. notice how i lost ZERO kick space. midbass are vented to the exterior. build log is here: http://forum.sounddomain.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1369669&page=1&fpart=5

tweeters in a-pillars. FG needed there also. - before modification to kick panels and carpeting - this was during testing.
