Unfortunately that trick was only a short-term solution. I made many trips from Lafayette to New Orleans, and I watched the voltage drop from 13.8 volts to 12.5 WITH the AC and headlights on. Once things level out, the ELD WILL cut the voltage to save fuel.

That's no bueno. Its been the only way I can keep my voltage up for my runs and hasn't let me down yet. Once it decides to be smart I'll send it in to DC power and they can make it to where it bypasses the ELD.
