I'm in the process of turning my Camry into a boom machine but im stuck right now.
My current setup is a Rockford p550.2 amp, With two 12" Diamond Audio subs, in a custom vented box I made(about 5 cubic feet, tuned to 32 Hz).
The problem is my stock alternator was only producing about 75amps so nothing was working properly, not to mention my battery is no good.
Now to get to the good stuff. Here is the setup im working on right now.
1 KickerL7 15"
1 KICKER ZX1500.1
1 KICKER SS65.2 CAR COMPONENT Kit 6.5"
1 New 180 AMPS ALTERNATOR
1 Optima 9014-045 YellowTop Deep-Cycle Battery
1 MASSIVE AUDIO HIGH POWER 2 FARAD
Now to the problem, I have a very big trunk. Unfortunately the box I have is almost as big as my entire trunk, and for one 15" L7 it will need roughly the same sized box (5cubic feet).
That being said I need to come up with a way to make the trunk clean and sound even cleaner. I have been leaning towards facing the box toward the front of the car and folding down the rear seats when they are not occupied and designing a nice rack for the amp and wall to clean up the trunk.
Another way would be to face the box towards the trunk and build a wall around the box keeping everything clean, and then mounting the amp on the floor.
I am just looking for some advice / input. I cant decide what I want to do.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
