96 Thunderbird voltage drops

I have a 1996 Ford Thunderbird and the voltage just does not seem to stay up . I just replaced the alternator and battery with new ones and still nothing. I am getting drops all the way to 11.9v:crap: , but sometimes its all the way up to 13.8v. During the day when it is hot as hell it will run anywhere form 11.9 up to 12.5, but at night when it is cooler outside I will usually run from 13.0 up to 13.8. I was wondering if anyone has a thunderbird because I heard this was a problem with thunderbirds. Anyways I want to know if anyone can tell me what they think, I have yet to put a sound system because I want to cure this problem first:crying: . By the way the alternator is a 130 amp alternator. I have never had voltage problems like this in any of my other cars:furious: .

what kind of system in it or is there?/ I used to own a 90tbird loved it...I ran a PPI PC 2150 on it 600rms and had no problems at all with a 95 amp alt......My buddy had a 600watt kenwood hooked up and had some problems with the voltage....turned out just to be the way he had his subs wired....

Check out tccoa.com that was my like the bible for me when i owned my 90tbird.......awsome people on there also...

I plan on putting 3 10" subs wired 1.3 ohms with a 1200w amp, but I just wanted to fix this problem first. I tried that forum and they said for me to check all my factory grounds, that could be a problem. I am going to try the Big 3 this weekend to see if that helps.
