Here it goes, I need a new setup, and starting to accumulate parts, before i buy fronts i was wondering how it would all go together... so i got to thinking kicks or door pods...
Focal k2 or utopia, zapco 750.2, koda 8's , Rf 4004 (bridgied), doors dynomated, pods and kicks, if installed dynomated,, car is an 02 accord
Pros and cons of each
Kicks: suposibly have better sound, not have to mod my door as much to fit all speakers in it, CONS : i drive standard = tight fit, live where it gets really wet (concerned about speakers on floor or near feet)
Door Pods : have to do it anyway to fit 8's, will look more stock (not as obvious i have upgraded speakers),, CONS: not as high of sound quality, trying to arange them for proper sound may be hard, extra weight in the door.
How much sound quality would i loose if everything was in the doors on a scale of 1 to 10,
1 being everything is as good as a cold BEER on a beach (substitue beer for your favorit drink)
5 dealable, like getting underware at x-mass, usable but not somthing to get excited about
10 might as well put holes in the speakers
And what would you do and why???
