well the better option to a bass knob would be to have a deck with a seperate sub volume which most that have a sub preout have a seperate volume for the sub

i know what your trying to say. i would much rather just have it in my deck, if for some divine work of god i didn't want to listen to bass. my hu does it swimmingly, one button and i can turn my woofer down. if u turn it all the way up when you are setting ur gain on your amp, then all you can do is turn it down. much better than running a seperate knob and sh!t

So the consensus is that they are good daily, its all about building the box to what you listen too....

They will go lowww if you want them too... It depends on the box, or you can have the punchy DD bass sound. Very nice driver IMO

SoloX's sound good, MT's sound good, dd9500's sound good... right? Why, its amazing we even have SQL drivers like the W7 at all when we already have these SPL subs that fill every niche in the market so well.
