I ordered Focal 6.5" coaxials for the front. I'm thinking of Alpine 7894 for a deck

and I am wondering whetther I should go with an amp or not?

The salesman is telling me to forget about my rear speakers and just do the fronts.

Does anybody know why Alpines European Amps (707,757,407 etc) are all over the internet for cheap and not the North American ones? Is their a compatibility issue?

thanx in advance for anyfeedback Todd

check the rms on them, the total watts i believe is 120,and if the rms is above 25

which i think is what the alpine is go for the amp. get one with the same or close

as possible rms you can find.. but being at 120 you may not be able to put an amp.

i sale some car audio stuff and i say if YOU like speakers all around go for it

its your truck and your the one listneing to the music!!sorry cant help ya with

the euro amps. good luck!!

email me if you need help finding something at a good price.

i look for what u want not p[ush what i have!!

i dont keep stock, i work by supply on demand.

if not hope you find that which you seek!!!!!!!!!

Thanx for the feedback

I'm looking at 2- channel amps with 50-80 rms. I'm bidding on a PPI right now. Any other suggestions? I'm only interested in clean power

theres alot of good clean amps out there

alpine mrp-t130

ma audio m186i maybe to much

alpine mrv-t320 , mrv t420

jbl p180.2 90*2 maybe to much

mxt t4202

thats just a couple i found off hand they seem to be good pop.

brands just look around . go to ALL your locale audio shops

and shop around see what they have and sounds good to

you!! good luck

I've got the 7894, 165k2s in the front, and 6939s alpines in the back, and the ****ing t420 is the ****. I just got them in the mail, but that's the cream of the crop. Definately the best 2 channel, next comes the JL 300/2 and then the rest are pretty much ****. Good luck man, and let me know how it sounds.

There is one more thing; you said you will be using the OEM amplifier for the front stage. If that is the case, then you may need an vehicle...
