'95 Caddy Deville - 2 Fi Qs, Custom Trunk

not too sure havent done it yet but i'm sure if you just doubled up the back wood it wouldnt be that hard
Hmm... yeah maybe throw a piece of 1/2" MDF the same size as the back of the box, cut the hole about 1" bigger than the one I would cut into the original back and then bond in some Lexan... how thick would it need to be though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I'd say either 1/2" or 3/4" no bigger than that though
Thanks for the idea bro I might actually try that... maybe by this summer when I have a little more time to play around with the car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I work in a composites shop and we work with GE brand Lexan (it's polycarbonate, strong as hell we use it for aircraft windows) vs Plexi (acrylic) so I might try and swipe a chunk of that if I can... I think 1/4" might be OK.
