Thanks man you know I actually tossed around that idea. I wonder how difficult it would be to cut a hole in the back and bevel it, then bond in some Lexan?

Hmm... yeah maybe throw a piece of 1/2" MDF the same size as the back of the box, cut the hole about 1" bigger than the one I would cut into the original back and then bond in some Lexan... how thick would it need to be though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

no prob i've been wanting to do a box with plexi in it in my explorer but i just dont have any plexi to work with or extra cash but hopefully soon I will especialy if this interview goes well

I work in a composites shop and we work with GE brand Lexan (it's polycarbonate, strong as hell we use it for aircraft windows) vs Plexi (acrylic) so I might try and swipe a chunk of that if I can... I think 1/4" might be OK.
