2kw Daily Streetbeater - 96 Corolla

Got a few pics here from an install i did over the week, didnt have time to take detailed pics yet just snapped a few in action. Guys coming over friday for another install so i can take some more measurements and do some adjustments to everything. Ill get more pics then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

AP1500 runs the subs

Alpine 4ch runs the comp set and 8 extra horns in the rear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Anyway, overall it was a clean install. Went smoothly except for the box fitting issues. Running about 2k total power and at full tilt it will drop to around 13 at idle, at the sub amp. Thats on zoe - dopeboy. Did a few small things like adding a rocker switch and bass knob flushed into the panels, looks real clean. The car is so tiny i can pull a hairtrick running the subs sealed, cant wait to go ported with it. Loud as fawk for only 1.5k, and the highs are insane too. The sealed box def isnt helping the lows though, guess these subs hate sealed, but ive done several sealed setups that abs. smashed the lows. a 25$ sheet of MDF will fix that though. Dude started blushing and **** when i first played everything after it was done. Word of mouth = best form of advertisement //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Heres the pics, you might be able to see in some of the pics how i had to trim about 6 inches off around the entire rear seat frame, top, and sides. Guy wanted to avoid this, which was the original cause for the sealed box. No point now though, soon were doing 8 cubes ported, since its basically a hatchback now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Wait for the subs to break in, then you will have some lows, if not try some fill.
But they are really made for ported.
word, id still like to do ported though, but they sound really good still, peak around 40 hz. Id like to port real low maybe 30 or 32 to really smash the lows and get some flex, it already flexes the roof and windshield a bit now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif The subs are only moving about an inch on full power, still stiff as hell. I set the gain low and im going to readjust everything when he comes back, told him to play it like that for a few days to soften them up. Ill use my good cam to take some pics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Car does a 148 on ac on music and im not done with it yet, building a new box this weekend. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I still havent had the chance to get more pics, im gonna be installing a line driver/crossover soon, building a new box, adding another batt, and voltmeter. Ill have pics eventually, sorry to disappoint
